Burr-less LIM Mold Die

Liquid Silicone Rubber is lower in viscosity than thermoplastic resin. So, the liquid rubber leaked from a mold die and caused such problem as resin burr before. Such burr had to be removed in a later process, which was troublesome. To solve this problem, MEIHO achieved in making burr-less mold dies to solve this problem by gathering our know-how and technology of designing and making Precision Mold Die. Now Burr-Less Mold Dies are used in the mass production of water-proof parts and others of electronic products.

Thanks to Burr-less Mold Die and Automatic Production System, MEIHO finally achieved the production of LIM-integrated molded items of high quality at a lower cost. This system has got a lot of attention from car parts makers and electronic parts makers with great interests.

Injection Molding of Ultra-Low Viscosity Liquid Resin

MEIHO has developed High-Accuracy Mold Dies and Injection Molding Machines, both of which are designed for injection molding of ultra-low viscosity liquid resin. They are now widely used for mass production of bacteria-cultivating vessels made of 5Pa・s ultra-viscosity resin, sensor parts and so on.

At this stage, our technology enables the integrated unification of PC or PBT, epoxy resin and Liquid Silicone Rubber. We have proudly achieved mass production of such unified parts so far. Plus, we have been proceeding our own innovative research on bonding of SUS, epoxy and other materials by using various devices such as VUVs or plasma generators.

Burr-less Semiconductor Mold Die

Thanks to dam shape of special structure, we have achieved burr-less finish on the lead surface in semiconductor mold dies. This burr-less finish completely stops any leak of resin into a lead frame unit.
This burr-less has already removed any problem of poor contact caused by resin burr.

Previous thin type of core pin is low in durability and often breaks down. So this type of core pin caused the increase of failures, of repairing costs and serious reduction in operation rate. So, we have newly developed a new technology and method of making thin core pins of perfect durability. Our thin core pins of perfect durability have been used in injection mold dies for various types of precision molded items.
Now, it is our pride that our thin core pin of perfect durability is more than ten times as durable as previous ones.

Stretch Blow Mold Die, Saving the trouble of Die Exchange

MEIHO has proudly created the innovative mold die structure, designed for labor-saving mold-die exchange.
We have improved and innovated previous types of mold dies such as raised-bottom dies and blow-cavity dies. This has led to labor-saving die exchange. With our innovative-structured dies, die-exchange work now can be done by single worker, not two like before. A great number of inquiries is coming to us about our Stretch Blow Mold Dies.

Resin Flow Controlling

This controlling technology is wonderfully useful in removing troublesome weld-line and improving dimension accuracy, physical strength and other factors. We rotate the core inside a mold die at the time of injection molding to arrange molecular chains of the resin used for the molding and glass fibers (added for the molding) in the circumference direction. We have got a lot of inquiries for this technology from customers who would like to improve accuracy of shafts or produce impact-absorption parts.

MEIHO has finally & successfully established another innovative technology. With this innovative technology, mold die shape is 100% accurately & effectively reproduced on mold die steel materials. First we make mother die of ceramic. Second, we heat mold die steel materials using high-frequency induction heater. Then, we press the mother mold die onto the steel material for reproducing the mold die shape.

Compact Molding System for Producing Single Item

MEIHO has perfectly established our unique automatic molding system for producing single molded item.
This development is based on our own high technology of mold dies, molding, and injection molding machines. This system is 10m or less in length, enabling the whole process for producing one molded item from resin molding, assembly, inspection to packaging. This system surely helps you to greatly reduce the trouble of middle storage. MEIHO has already delivered this Compact Molding System to leading car parts makers for their convenience.

Technology of Further Downsizing Compact Injection Molding Machine for Lower Costs (to be completed soon)

MEIHO is working very hard to develop a new version of our own MIV Series, Compact Injection Molding Machine. For example, we are proceeding in downsizing the main body of the molding machine, making the machine tie-bar free, and adopting torque type of mold closing. Thus, we are aiming to improve the flexibility of line design and reduce the costs of the main body of the molding machine.
